The most common type of window handles found on PVC windows and doors are push-lock handles. When we do not try to take care of it, there are times that it is necessary to change it not only because of deterioration, but for other reasons: it does not fit well or you cannot close the window, the paint has fallen off, or we would simply like to put a more beautiful one.

A head screwdriver
A ruler or tape measure
Step 1: Remove the handle from the existing window Remove the screw caps. Put the handle in the open position. Loosen the screws. Once the screws are loosened, the handle should lift up smoothly.
Step 2: Identify a replacement handle Identify if the handle is left, inline, or right. Measure the length of the shaft. Now you can select your replacement handle! Step 3: Attach the replacement handle Place the new handle in the open position. Hold the handle with one hand. With your free hand, screw the bottom screw into place, and then screw the top screw into place. Put the screw caps in place. Check that the handle works properly
